Nicolaas de Bruin was born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In his late twenties became a International fashion model, where he discovered his passion for photography. In 1997 he moved to New York City and started shooting, soon after he switched from in front of, to behind the camera. His images have appeared internationally in magazines as German Vogue, Italian GQ, Cosmo, FHM & Maxim. Nicolaas works together with his wife on almost all project, Melita creates concepts for their shoots as well as hair, makeup and styling.
